Objective: Students will demonstrate using columns, spellcheck, peer editing, and save files functions in Microsoft Word after the teacher has demonstrated same. We will continue use the Microtype program to test your typing speed and skill level.
  • I can demonstrate the proper typing method for my teacher.
  • I can type without looking down at my hands.
  • I can use good posture and keep my hands on the home row.
  • I can use the Microsoft Word program to create documents effectively and format using underline, bold, single spacing, alignment, font styles, font colors, cut and paste along with several other functions.
 

Essential Skill to be mastered: Students can use columns, spellcheck, peer editing, and save files to their Sharepoint folders. Students can type using the home row. Students should type without looking, using good form which includes good posture, feet on the floor, back straight against the back of the chair.
